Why do you teach?
Had a family member ask why I am a teacher. He expounded on my love of writing and my years of childhood I spent with pen in hand. He explained that he could understand the English degree and the “back-up” plan of teaching credential but said he just couldn’t understand why I am wasting my talents on unappreciative kids in the High school system… I said to him...
